Punch Taverns has announced it is offering 500 of its pubs for sale
to licensees across the country. Herefordshire Council, which wants
to help ensure that pubs are not lost to their communities, has
asked licensees for local pubs offered a sale to get in touch. The
council says there may be grants available to upgrade their pubs
and make the outlets more profitable.
